Cullunghutti Early Learning Centre is providing early childhood education and care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, with a priority to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. Cullunghutti provides high-quality early childhood education that is both affordable and accessible for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
The service offers two sessions – Long Day Care (7:30am to 5:30pm), and Preschool (9:00am to 3:00pm).
Our Philosophy
As educators, we are committed to our Reconciliation Action Plan, the National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework, and the United Nations Rights of the Child.
Our Vision
Cullunghutti Early Learning Centre is a special place of gathering, where community are our family, and children are our future.
We are a unique Aboriginal service, which provides a place of being, becoming, and belonging a respectful and safe place for all children, families, and wider community.
- We believe in getting to know every child through nurturing and respectful relationships
- We will advocate for the rights, interests, and the needs of the children at all times
- We recognise that parents and carers know their child, and are the most influential teachers in their child’s life
- We will provide opportunities for children to make and build upon their connections to culture
